MMTS Train Timings
Additional Information from Google Play:
MMTS Train Timings – With the rapid expansion of Indian’s inter-city train network as well as the increase in usage it is seeing nowadays. It is very difficult to navigate the increasingly complicated system without an electronic aid. Or at least, after using this app, you would feel like being at a complete disadvantage without having it on while traversing using the railway system.
The thing about trains is that it is not rare for them to run into troubles that could make your commuting extremely difficult. Things such as cancellation, re-routing, or delays are common, in fact, if you’ve used it for a long time, you would normally expect it every time you enter the platform. But with train management apps such as this one, you would be able to remove the uncertainty completely out of your schedule. Instead, you would be at a complete liberty and confidence to seek out other transportation alternatives, or another route to get to your destination. Because the app will immediately notice you when the train’s status is changed.
Aside from that very useful feature, you can also find a host of other features that are available universally on other train management apps such as train tracking. By inserting your platform, the destination, and the time bracket you wanted to board, the app will spit out the train number most relevant to your keywords for you to set up your schedule. Of course, there’s nothing stopping you from doing it the old fashioned way by coming directly to the platform and asking the clerk, or looking at the listing for a suitable train. But with this app, you can do this anytime and anywhere you find convenient or in need as long as you have your smartphone at hand. Surely beats having to queue in line or standing at the tip of your toes trying to read the small prints.
Furthermore, the app is also integrated with some pretty nifty smart feature. One includes taking into account your current location through the phone’s location service and suggests the best route to the nearest train station through Google Maps. Certainly you wouldn’t find much use for this feature if you’re at native, but let’s say you’re new to the city and don’t know where to go then this app would be the best travel companion you could ask for.
True to the app’s name, it also includes a listing with the arrival, departure time, along with platform numbers to supported apps. Those would be: Hyderabad to Lingampally, Falaknuma to Lingampally, Lingampally to Hyderabad, Falaknuma to Lingampally. Unfortunately, if you’re in any stations outside of these, the information would not be supported. However, if you just so happen to be the in region, it is not a bad app to have on your phone.
On the last note. Even though the design can be relatively off-putting. I have to acknowledge the fact that the developers had done a bad job at designing the app aesthetically. But fact still remains is that this is a very functional app that can surely help you at what you needed it to do: Manage your train travel schedule. But if you’re looking for something that can do both the job, as well as having good looks, I honestly recommend you to go digging a bit deeper since there are a myriad of apps out there that can satisfy both requirements.
